Upon the head Maid’s Exiting, Patchouli examined the Tea she brewed before shifting her Focus to the Cup before her Mistress, Remilia Scarlet. It seemed different than her own, and the creeping Smile seen so rarely on the Maiden’s face proved this so.
“Mistress?”
“Hm? Thou mayst speak,” she said, sitting a tad straighter than before. “Go on.”
“Pardon my Forwardness, but what does Miss Izayoi mean to you?”
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“What a peculiar Question! She is my Maid, is she not?”
Patchouli swallowed a Scoff. Though the Mistress has expressed many-a-time she sees the Bookworm as a Semi-equal, she was nevertheless ever-wary of Disrespect.
“You know full well this is not what I meant, my Lady.”
“Hmph.” Remilia grumbled as she slithered back down into her Chair before rephrasing.
“She maketh herself useful.”
“Uh huh...” The Magician drew her Attention back to her Book. The Conversation had ended fast, a new Record for this kind of one, even.
The Vampire took note of the Time told by the large, ornate Grandfather Clock and made her leave—not without gracefully and mindfully downing the Last of her Tea, of course,
and of which she savored every Sip.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Remilia sits at her Desk, Pen in Hand.
She knows not what to write, but Writing has become a nightly Ritual for her anyhow.
She’s written Stories, or at least attempted to, but they are much too amateur for someone of such refined Status. Well, that’s how she sees it at the least.
She chooses instead to write Letters, something only requiring a Writer’s Heart, Charisma, and Fairness (all Things this Woman has in strides, or so she thinks.)
At this point she has written to nearly every Person she's come across in her now 735 Years of Life.
200 too many, she thinks.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One Letter every Night for 200 Years... That’s around 73,050 Letters, and if her Memory serves correct,
almost 70 Thousand are written to Sakuya Izayoi.
